Freshers' Selections 2024-25
Inviting all freshers to be involved in the interesting league of decentralization
We invite all freshers with a passion for innovation and a drive to create meaningful impact. If you are intrigued by the vast opportunities in development and decentralization, this is your chance to embark on a transformative journey with us. Together, we aim to challenge norms, explore groundbreaking ideas, and implement sustainable solutions that inspire change. By joining hands with our vibrant community, you not only contribute to shaping the future but also hone your skills and unlock your potential. Let’s collaborate to lead the way toward a better tomorrow, one idea at a time!
Mission and Vision
We don’t offer formal lessons on blockchain or related technologies, but we provide a collaborative space where like-minded students work on exciting projects, research, and participate in hackathons. Together, we explore blockchain, strengthen our ties with other blockchain communities, and build a strong alumni network. With guidance from experienced seniors and alumni, you’ll have plenty of support to deepen your knowledge and skill set structure.
Selection Process
We are considering two rounds of engaging selection:
Round 1 (Online)
This round is mostly based on the basic knowledge of blockchain and theoretical concepts about the topics listed below. By the way, we always believe gathering the information by yourself and making your own way to learn any skills is always more beneficial than going through the guided tutorial, and those who are really interested can learn more about it.
- Introduction to blockchain: Distributed ledger, decentralization, immutability
- Working of blockchain: blocks, transactions, consensus mechanism
- Understanding the difference between blockchain and database
- Cryptography: hash function, public and private key, digital signatures, zero-knowledge proof
- Consensus algorithm:-proof of work, stake, delegated proof of stake, byzantine fault tolerance
Round 2 (Online)
This round will be an application round involving some of the concepts of blockchain and development where you were asked to code within the frame.
- Basics of solidity (variables, operators, moderators, function)
- deployment of the blockchain
- Introduction to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Some frontend frameworks: react, Vue, next.js (any will work)
The first part is code where we can ask you to show your skills in real-time.
The second part will have conceptual questions regarding this.
Our Expectations from the Candidate
- Honest and sincere participation.
- Basic knowledge of logic-based coding and development skills.
- Discipline — any form of indiscipline will not be tolerated.
- Punctuality.
- Adaptability to get involve easily
